Some photo updates

Better and more pics coming, lots of updates but tonight I'm just posting some crappy camera phone pics, frame is inside, now we have to narrow it, make it fit the bucket and assemble the rest of the car.

Bomber bucket mock up

Looks like the seats are going to fit no problem. Here's some pics

Also started to restore the grill badge a bit.

Seats modeled to see how I like them

Really want some bomber seats but they are damn expensive, using original dimensions I made some barbie sized ones to see how I like the look. Then I blew them up into actual dimensions to make cardboard templates to transfer to metal.

Should probably post a before pic so as to generate the most shock

We started the paint last night, we experimented trying to give the car a battle worn appearance, several ways to achieve the look were explored but Ken had the winning idea, here are some pics of what we have come up with so far.

Start

Well this is the first blog post of many. We are building a t-bucket tribute to the AVG flying tigers p-40s. They were the first to engage the japanese in WWII and have always been an inspiration to me. Follow along as we build a car with flying tigers flavor.
